How it works
The person contacts you under someone else’s name and says they are an agent, but the name or registration number is not in the register, or does not match it.
How to spot it
- The name, registration number or agency they give does not match the public register.
- They will not show a registration card, or the details do not fit.
- They contact you from several different numbers.
What to do
- Check the name, registration number and agency on the CEA public register.
- If they do not match, do not pay or hand over identity documents.
- Report the listing in the app.
